For the past couple weeks there has been a small but quickly growing number of people labeling Glenn Beck's 'Restoring Honor' rally in Washington DC as nothing but a shindig for racist rednecks who only want to stop America's march to socialism. Well... you are half right. We as a nation are heading down a path that leads to self-destruction, and instead of citizens recognizing these dangers and acting many are cheering it on. Lucky for us, many does not a majority always make. We are Americans. We come from all walks of life, all nationalities, all creeds, and all want something greater for this country then the squeeky wheels of society seem to be able to grasp. Oh, and one more thing... we are the MAJORITY of the public. Until now we have remaind mostly silent... That stops Saturday. Most of you people out there that call us racist (yes i just said 'you people' as in ignorant, arrogent, or just plain racist yourselves regardles of color) or divisive are too caught up in liberal media spin to see that what we are really doing here is trying to re-unite this country that countless factions have worked so hard to tear apart.
If you understand the ideals that built this nation and are even half-educated, you can see that the direction the federal government is taking us in is 180 degrees from correct. It's time that Congress, the Senate, the Courts, and the President himself fulfil their duty to uphold the constitution. They need to know that if they fail in their responsibilities to 'we the people' who employ them, then we will gladly vote them the hell outta Washington. That is what this rally is all about. Everyone is welcome, even the hardest of hard core liberals.
Don't blindly follow somone just because what they say has a nice surface feeling to it. Do your own research. Educate yourself, and then make your own decision.
